Did you know that Google can help your nonprofit generate support, communicate your vision, advocate for your cause, and bring your office up-to-speed with the latest technology? Join us to learn about the Google for Nonprofits Program. We'll discuss the basics of the program, review criteria and eligibility, share best practices, and discuss ways that Google can help your nonprofit achieve its vision for a better world.

Featured guest:

Julio AlvarezJulio Alvarez comes to us from the Google Docs team here in NYC where he works on preparing the next generation of collaborative could computing. Since joining the company in 2011, he has worked to generate knowledge and build awareness around Google's suite of products and how, when properly implemented, these tools can add real value to any organization. Prior to joining Google, Julio worked at Apple, Inc. and spent a year as a Project Manager for Habitat for Humanity. He is an alumni of the Gallatin School at New York University, an active member of Rotary International, and is on the Board of Trustess for People to People International. Julio is passionate about the nonprofit sector and is interested in ways to leverage the power of Google to create meaningful change in the world.

501 Tech NYC

501 Tech NYC is the NYC chapter of NTEN, the Nonprofit Technology Network.

The club offers the opportunity to meet and network with colleagues in the five boroughs. Pros and accidental techies come together to share advice, resources, local news and job openings. Share your knowledge and get the support you need to create a better NY.
